I... kinda like this? Front fairing, tank, seat, and tail fairing off of a Yamaha FZ-1 photoshopped onto a stripped down CX500. From a distance at a glance it looks like a modernish bike but has the distinctive “twisted twin” engine of a CX500. Wonder why nobody has done this before.

Ooooh that’s sexy. Now that’s an inventive custom idea! ...I’m glad I don’t have those kinds of skills.

The clearcoat is peeling (not something I care much about, see: My GS850G) but it runs and will ride after the carbs take a bath.
Interestingly enough I’ve finally had to teach myself how to rebuild carbs. As I’m learning with my KE100A project , if you get an old enough bike China won’t have replacement carbs and originals will cost more than you paid for the thing. Due to UJM bikes being UJM, you could buy the carb from an equivalent bike for far cheaper, but surprise, those carbs come from Asia and shipping is 1-3 mo. Enter cleaning and rebuilds!
